External funding at Wallace State plays an important role in continuing to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff and the entire community.  Funding received through federal, state, and private grants, the Wallace State Alumni Association and the Future Foundation, resource development efforts have reached over 12 million since August of 2003.

Through business, industry, alumni and friends, Wallace State continues to grow as a nationally recognized community college.  With the support of our friends and alumni the college is able to offer educational programs, state of the art training equipment, and scholarships that produce a highly skilled workforce with marketable skills for the 21st century.  The community spirit is the quality that sets us apart.
