Admission Procedure

1.Submit Dental Assisting application to the Dental Assisting Department by June 1.

2.Submit WSCC application to the office of admissions by June 1.

3.Upon acceptance, you will receive the physical exam form and vaccination form. The physical exam form and evidence of having begun the Hepatitis B vaccination series must be submitted by the first day of class. Failure to submit these forms by the first class day will result in program dismissal.

4. Successful completion of the following CPR course: Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider, including AED (American Heart Association) is required prior to enrollment.  To assure the certification remains valid throughout the duration of the program, this course must be taken no earlier than 12 months prior to enrollment.  Failure to provide a copy of a current CPR card on or before the first class day will result in program dismissal.

5. You must be eligible for ENG 101 to be admitted to the program. Contact testing placement and schedule your COMPASS placement test prior to submitting your application.

6. Proof of health insurance must be submitted the first day of class and maintained throughout the program.
