Spanish 101 Online Though fully online, SPA 101 begins with an orientation on campus to help students become familiar with the geography of the course delivery program Blackboard and En línea, the online component of the Spanish textbook, VISTAS. No on-campus classes are required. The programmed learning curriculum allows students to progress at their own pace as they meet six homework deadlines and take six lesson tests. An access code is required and is sold with the textbook at the Wallace State bookstore or may be purchased online. Hybrid Courses English 102 Hybrid This English course does require class meetings. However, rather than meeting in a traditional twice-per-week format, the course typically meets once each week (usually on Thursdays) until the end of the semester. The class does follow the regular ENG 102 course syllabus, text, requirements, and evaluation procedures, which may be found under the syllabi link. Additionally, Blackboard supplements the course. Speech 106 Hybrid This speech course does require class meetings. However, rather than meeting in a traditional twice-per-week format, the course typically meets for mandatory orientation, for oral presentations, and for a mock interview session. However, rather than meeting in a traditional twice-per-week format, the course typically meets for mandatory orientation, exams, and oral presentations.
