Young Artists Conservatory
The Wallace State Year of the Arts Program invites rising 6th-8th grade students to participate in the inaugural Young Artists Conservatory, scheduled
for June 7-11, 2010. Participants will spend the week rehearsing songs, scenes, orchestral music, and building scenery for the Conservatory's production of Disney's
"Aladdin Kids". The week will culminate in a final performance at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010.

If submitted online, parent and student signatures will be completed on site the first morning (June 7th) of the Conservatory. We look forward to receiving your
application no later than Wednesday, May 26th at 5:00 p.m.

Year of the Arts Schedule
This spring Wallace State celebrates a yearlong celebration of the arts. The Year of the Arts 2010 will be highlighted by the opening of the Ottis and Evelyn Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts and the Evelyn Burrow Museum. A full lineup of arts events will be held on campus, including a concert with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, theatre performances of "Beauty and the Beast" and "Little Shop of Horrors", choral and band performances, "The Nutcracker" ballet, and much more.
