Campus Safety Tips
- Always be alert and aware of your surroundings. While walking avoid tunnelvision and show a confident attitude.
- All suspicious activity should be reported to Campus Security. Timely reports of information make it easier for the police to gather critical evidence and increase the odds of recovering stolen property and/or successfully prosecuting a criminal.
- Avoid walking alone at night - walk with a group or call Campus Security for an escort. If you must walk alone, make sure to use lighted paths and take the most direct route.
- Keep your dorm room and vehicle doors locked.
- Do not lend your keys or ID to anyone - even your friends.
- Identify your valuables - keep a list of all serial numbers.
- Vehicles exiting campus traveling north on Highway 31 should use College Drive or the Warehouse Discount Groceries exit, which have traffic lights.
