Employment Training:

Basic Career Readiness Skills
Need to find work or improve your work situation? Pre-employment and on-the-job skills training is offered through Wallace State Adult Education’s Work-Based Project Learner Initiative. Students in this program enhance their listening, speaking, and writing skills and learn how to understand charts, forms, documents, manuals, and math in the workplace.

Computer Skills Training
Computer skills training is individualized, self-paced instruction on the basic computer skills required for most employers. WorkKeys

Certification and Preparation
Many industry and business employers require a standard employability test called WorkKeys. This certification exam covers work skills mathematics, locating information, and reading for information.

Free preparation classes and testing are offered through Wallace State Adult Education.
