General Educational Development (GED)
GED Classes The GED test covers five subject areas: Writing, Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Our course of study and materials are designed specifically to prepare you to pass the exam and get your high school equivalency diploma.
Free Materials and Practice Test All of our classes and materials are free. We are funded by the Department of Postsecondary Education, Adult Education Program. Additionally, we offer free GED practice testing. If you have recently withdrawn from school, you may want to take the GED practice test before scheduling the regular test. The practice test will tell you if there are any areas that you need to work on before you take the exam. We offer the exam as a courtesy to students enrolled in our classes to gauge whether or not they are ready for the exam. For more information, call the Wallace State Adult Education Department at (256)352-8078.
Our business office hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
