Free Tutoring

The tutoring lab, located in room 16 of  H.G. Allen Math Building, offers live tutors daily for

  •     Reading
  •     Math
  •     English
  •     other subjects by appointment

Online and computer - assisted tutoring is available in a variety of subjects and is available based on need for Biology, Mathematics up to and including Calculus, Reading, Vocabulary, Composition, Grammar, and Punctuation along with new tools becoming available monthly for student registration and use.  Checking with the Tutoring Lab concerning your area of need will allow the service to assist you more effectively.
  


Handouts Available for core courses:  

  • Reading Study Guides for use with the required reading lists for RDG 083
  • Mathematics formula reference sheets
  • Reading, Writing, and Study Skills Tip sheets covering a variety of subtopics
  • Mathematics Anxiety Tip sheets for those not inclined toward a “love for math”
  • Worksheets on numerous topics as the need arises including the core topics
