At Upward Bound, we are Climbing to New Heights...

The Wallace State Upward Bound program is a federally funded college-preparatory program that serves high school students who are either low-income and/or who will be the first in their family to earn a four-year college degree. Upward Bound's purpose is to assist students with graduating high school, entering college, and earning a Baccalaureate degree. More information is available for download or you may request additional information by contacting the WSCC Upward Bound office.

The Wallace State Upward Bound program provides a wide variety of services, support, opportunities and experiences to aid high school students in successfully graduating from both high school and college.  We strive to create an environment which motivates, encourages, and engages potential first-generation and/or low-income students by empowering students academically, socially and culturally.  There is no cost to participate in the Upward Bound program.

Program applications are available for download and are available in your high school counselor's office.  New students are admitted annually in September, while applications are accepted anytime.

Please contact the Upward Bound office at any time if any questions arise.
