A new Advanced Visualization Center, which opened this summer, allows our students to train in virtual reality, using 3-D and 4-D simulation-based learning platforms.
The award-winning Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, and the Burrow Museum, complement Wallace Stateʼs support of the arts and serve as a featured location during our Year of the Arts events on campus this year. The Burrow Center and AVC are just two of the state-of-the-art, and green, learning environments on campus.
Our faculty, staff and administration put students first, challenging you while providing a supportive environment and the tools you need to succeed.
Wallace State has a record of producing outstanding scholars, including Jack Kent Cooke and New Century scholars, and upon transfer to a university our students meet or exceed the performance of students who began there. Those students directly entering a technical or health career have excellent licensure and job placement rates.
We serve high school students through dual enrollment, early college enrollment, tech prep programs, and our on-campus Fast Track Academy. We offer one of the most comprehensive arrays of academic, health science and technical programs in the nation, ranking tenth nationally in the number of health care graduates we produce, and students complete our programs with great potential, well prepared for careers or seamless transfer to a university.
Student activities, outstanding athletic programs, intramurals, clubs and organizations, service learning and volunteer opportunities make the campus feel like a community. Educational offerings are also available totally online so that students can learn anytime, anywhere.
