Miss Wallace State 2020 Competition will be held on December 8th, 2019, in the Betty Leethe Haynes Theatre (Student Center).

The Miss Wallace State Preliminary is a scholarship competition that offers over $3,500 in cash and tuition/fees scholarships to participants each year. This scholarship competition is a part of the Miss America Organization, which provides millions of dollars in scholarship money to contestants throughout the United States. Miss Wallace State 2020 will compete for the title of Miss Alabama in June 2020 at Samford University.

A contestant orientation will be conducted on Tuesday, October 29th at 12:30 p.m. on the 9th floor of the Bailey Center in Room 911.

To enter the Miss Wallace State Scholarship Preliminary, or any other Miss America local preliminary you must:

  • Be a female, a high school graduate or equivalent, at least eighteen (18) years of age by July 2020 and no older than twenty-five (25) years of age on December 31, 2020
  • Be a citizen of the United States of America
  • Not be married, never been married, never had a child
  • Be available for public appearances as Miss Wallace State
  • Be enrolled as a part-time student at Wallace State ( at least 6 credit hours or more)
  • Secure $100 in donations for the Children’s Miracle Network

All Forms that MUST be completed, as well as, other documentation needed to compete, are attached at the top of the website and must be turned in no later than November 25, 2019.
