Wallace State Community College has been fortunate enough to have only 3 presidents lead the institution throughout its 50 years. The presidents are Dr. Ben Johnson (1965-71), Dr. James C. Bailey (1971-2003) and Dr. Vicki Karolewics (2003-present).

High schools students can earn dual credit at WSCC through the Fast Track to College and Fast Track to Industry academies on campus and through traditional dual enrollment programs.
Wallace State students can transfer anywhere seamlessly and with no loss of credit by downloading a STARS guide, a statewide articulation agreement.
The spring nursing application deadline has been extended to October 1, 2015. For the RN program, the student must have a qualifying ACT of at least 18, be eligible to take Math 100 and Biology 201 in the spring semester and apply online.
