WINTER WEATHER CLOSINGS

Winter storms create a higher risk of car accidents, hypothermia, frostbite, carbon monoxide poisoning, and heart attacks from overexertion. Winter storms including blizzards can bring extreme cold, freezing rain, snow, ice, and high winds. Remember to dress in layers and cover any exposed skin. Try to stay dry and avoid sweating if possible while you are outside. You will need to limit your outdoor time this week. You need to have multiple ways to be informed. Don’t just rely on your TV. Keep your phones charged up.

If you must travel keep your tank as full as possible. You are going to want to add a few blankets to your car in case something happens. Keep a check on your tire pressure. You need a safety kit in your car. Also, if you are traveling let your family or someone one that you are going to be out in case something happens they will know.
