Computer Topics
Computer classes range from Introduction to Personal Computers for Beginners, which are taught at a much slower pace with more "hands-on" than traditional classes, to Designing and Creating Web Sites and job specific classes for various programs such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher.
Spanish
Wallace State Community College is an Official Registered Provider of Command Spanish® Programs. These customized Spanish language courses are for those with NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH. Unlike traditional Spanish classes that attempt to teach the whole language over an unspecified period of time, Command Spanish® classes utilize techniques that teach specific occupational language in a limited time period with a zero stress classroom environment. Command Spanish® utilizes choral response, learning pairs, role-playing, and simulations. All course fees include language manuals and audio tapes.

Business topics cover basic management tools of conducting meetings, networking, time management, skills for effective communication, conflict resolution and improving morale and productivity.
Health Care Topics
Wallace State's Department of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing education by the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABNPO137). We provide continuing education courses for nurses and other allied health professionals. We also provide training in Blood Borne Pathogen Precautions and First Aid/ CPR.
Specialty Topics
An assortment of community classes are offered each semester and may vary semester-to-semester. These specialty topics include Yoga, Cooking, Cake Decorating, Home Decorating Sewing, Digital Photography, Photo Shop Elements, Exercise, Scuba Diving, and First Aid/CPR.
