Office of Admissions

Wallace State Community College maintains an "open door" admissions policy. All students who have earned a high school diploma or GED are eligible for admission.

In addition to submitting an application for admission, students are required to supply the College with an official copy of their high school transcript or an official copy of their GED scores. Students transferring from another college must submit an admissions application and an official copy of their transcript(s) from each college they have attended. Transient students must submit a transient letter from their home institution stating the courses that they will be allowed to take, in addition to an application for admission. The Office of Admissions will not issue copies of transcripts from other colleges or copies of high school transcripts to students. Health program applicants must obtain copies of transcripts from their previous colleges and high school if required for their application packet.

Please note that admission to the College does not guarantee entrance into a particular course or program. Specific program requirements may be found in the Wallace State catalog.
