Forklift Operator

Students learn OSHA-compliant operation techniques, load handling, and workplace safety
procedures. Practical labs provide hands-on experience with forklifts in realistic

Certified Forklift Training (ThompsonCAT Certification)
- Cost: $150
- Format: One-day, 6-hour lab with classroom-based theory and hands-on training combined.
- Focus: Provides in-depth instruction on forklift safety, best practices, and OSHA-compliant operation.
- Outcome: ThompsonCAT Forklift Certification. Training meets OSHA 1910 forklift operator safety requirements and covers:
- Forklift fundamentals
- Safe load handling
- Principles of stability, capacity, and balance
- Pre-operation inspections
- Refueling internal combustion trucks and charging batteries for electric trucks
- Safety guidelines and best practices for forklift operation
Admission Requirements
Participants must be 18 years of age or older. No high school diploma or GED required.
