The Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI) program provides hands-on instruction in the use of essential measurement tools for modern manufacturing and technical professions. Students will learn techniques for accurate measurement, calibration, and quality assurance.

The program is divided into six separate modules. Each module includes a 4-hour lab and awards its own NC3 Snap-on badge/certificate upon successful completion:

  • Tape and Rule Measurements – 4 hours | $50
  • Slide Caliper Measurement – 4 hours | $50
  • Gage Measurement – 4 hours | $50
  • Angle Measurement – 4 hours | $50
  • Micrometer Measurement – 4 hours | $50
  • Dial Gage Measurement – 4 hours | $50

Practical exercises allow students to apply these techniques to real-world scenarios, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of production and quality control.

Additional Information
