ServSafe Handler
About the Course
Covers basic food safety principles, personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention,
time and temperature control, and cleaning and sanitizing. Participants receive an
official ServSafe Food Handler Certificate through the National Restaurant Association
upon passing the proctored exam.
Course Format & Cost
The ServSafe Handler course is $95 and consists of 2 hours of training. It can be
completed online or in-person with a Wallace State instructor. Upon completion, students
will sit for the proctored ServSafe Exam with their instructor.

Admission Requirements
Participants must be 14 years of age or older. No high school diploma or GED required.
