MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT)
About the Course
The CPT course introduces students to key manufacturing skills, including safety practices,
quality control, manufacturing processes, and maintenance awareness. Hands-on labs
and simulations reinforce learning, giving students practical experience that can
lead directly to employment or stack into advanced technical training.
Program Length
This program consists of approximately 130–160 total contact hours and a certification in the 4 following areas:
- Safety: 30–40 hours
- Quality Practices and Measurement: 34–40 hours
- Manufacturing Processes and Production: 32–40 hours
- Maintenance Awareness: 34–40 hours
Admission Requirements
This course is open to all individuals. No high school diploma or GED is required.
This is runs approximately 130- 160 hours with a $1200 registration fee or $300 registration fee per area.
