Terms & Conditions

Required for All Workforce Development Classes –

  • TABE testing is required of all students who are registered to take a class offered by the Center for Career & Workforce Development (CCWD). The TABE is a tool used to assist our administration in serving our students to the best of our ability and will not have any impact on the final grade of your class. It will require an additional 30-45 minutes to the total length of your first class, so we ask that you plan accordingly.
  • Course/Instructor evaluations are required at the end of each class offered by CCWD.

Additional Class Requirements – While TABE testing and course/instructor evaluations are requirements of all classes offered by CCWD, there will be additional requirements for classes that award certificates upon completion. These include, but are not limited to: Phlebotomy, CNA Training, CDL Training, ServSafe, ACLS, CPR, Ready to Work, and MSSC.  For more information regarding the prerequisites, please email ashley.baker@wallacestate.edu.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy – If withdrawal from class is necessary, students will need to do so ten days (10 days) prior to the first day of class. If withdrawal is submitted after the ten-day deadline, but before the first day of class, a portion of funds will be refunded. No refund will be issued if the request is submitted after the first day of class. The request must be submitted by email to ashley.baker@wallacestate.edu. Failure to attend class is not the same as withdrawing and students will remain responsible for their account balances.
